Health and wellbeing

The health and wellbeing information shared in the following pages has been co-designed with the community it serves – women over 50 years – and any medical information has been reviewed by clinical experts. It is evidence-based, age-relevant and empowering.

Many of the health needs of older women have been overlooked by medical research and healthcare policy. And much of the existing health research focuses on menopause. While this is an important part of ageing (and one we cover in detail), health and wellbeing for older women is about much, much more.

In the sections below, you can explore advice, research, and links to support services that promote active ageing, help us stay independent and connected to our communities, and celebrate the continuing contributions women make to our society as we age.
